FoodRecruit evolved from a traditional recruitment consultancy service, when an opportunity was identified to combine Food industry recruitment expertise with online technologies, to streamline the recruitment process and bring job seekers and employers closer together.
You deal directly with the Company recruiting
We strongly believe that the company recruiting is best placed to review your CV and because we don’t want to hinder this, as long as you have the core experience, we provide the recruiting company with your CV to review and make the decision whether to interview you or not. The recruiting company will then contact you directly to arrange an interview.
We firmly believe this is a more efficient way to recruit as it removes the role of the recruitment consultant to act as a middle-man and gives the employer a direct line into the job seeker. So if your application meets the core requirements of the job, it is forwarded to the employer along with your full contact details. This allows the employer to contact you directly, should they want to ask you any questions, conduct a telephone interview, or arrange a face-to-face interview.
Clearly, the employer is best placed to review your application and by contacting the job seeker directly it speeds up the recruitment process.
Communication
Candidate communication is extremely important to us, and we know that a lack of communication or no acknowledgement of an application is infuriating to job seekers. At FoodRecruit we respond to all job applicants quickly and effectively by email and are pleased to take calls to answer any questions.
We know it can be frustrating when a recruitment consultant is unable to give you the name of the employer when you make a job application. At FoodRecruit, we will gladly communicate the name of the employer to you.
Support
Our recruitment consultants are available if you have a web, email or phone-based query. We understand it may be difficult for you to discuss job opportunities during the day, so we are available until 7pm to answer your questions or queries.
What’s happening at FoodRecruit
Since we launched the FoodRecruit service in 2007 we have seen an ever-increasing number of Food & Drink businesses using the service to recruit food industry professionals. More and more employers are recognising that in most circumstances there is no need to pay the higher fee's associated with traditional recruitment consultancies.
This increased level of interest has resulted in a higher volume of vacancies for job seekers to review, as our database of live positions continues to grow.
